Stone Mountain Historic District is located in east central DeKalb County, 10 miles east of Atlanta on route 10. The district is roughly bounded by Stone Mountain Memorial Park, Lucile St., CSX Railroad, VFW Dr., and the city limits. It contains several commercial shops which are open to the public during normal business hours, and many private residences which are not open to the public. Stone Mountain Park is not within the historic district, but is located adjacent to the town.

Directions to For Eternity Christian Church:
Take 285 to 78 East, the Athens/Stone Mountain Exit. Proceed on 78 toward Stone Mountain. Take the Village of Stone Mountain/Memorial Drive Exit (the exit after Mountain Industrial Blvd). Keep to your right and exit for the Village of Stone Mountain. At the stop sign, turn left and proceed toward the traffic light. Keep straight, crossing over Memorial Drive, and proceed on Main Street through the Village of Stone Mountain. Pass by the City of Stone Mountain Police Station and Court House on the right; cross over the railroad track. 749 Main Street is approximately one mile on the left.
